After watching Prince of Persia last week, I ate at Ministry of Food (MOF) at Plaza Indonesia. It is located in front of MUJI, I can't remember which floor. I thought it was just a great cafe and hang out place, with the best Japanese style dessert. I found out that it also offers pasta. I was starving so I opt for the pasta.
My brother ordered this as his dessert: matcha zen, I think that's the name. The green stuff is green tea ice cream, swimming in a ogura porridge with some kind of mochi balls. I hate ogura/red bean. I know it's sweet but it always left that very distinctive outer layer, which felt weird in my mouth.

I love this unique ferris wheel salt and pepper holder! I think the other two contain some spices and grated cheese.

This is my pasta. I am a huge fan of pasta and I always order the cream sauce. I don't like the tomato sauce very much. I have to tell you this is THE BEST cream sauce pasta I've ever tasted. I am not kidding you. It's actually creamy mushroom, with chunks of deep fried mushrooms. It tasted phenomenal! It is so creamy and delicate with the right amount of savory.

I do have to tell you they food at MOF are pricey, the pasta was 50.000 (around US$5-that's expensive for just a pasta!) So bring a fat wallet or a card, folks! I can tell you it is so yummy and highly recommended.
always,
hana.
