Rice Galore

I tried this awesome rice place called RICEBOX at Jalan Dr. Satrio, Kuningan. It is a small, modern eatery, with an orange theme. The menu is a wide range of rice dishes. Rice with veggies, rice with meat and fried rice.

We ordered three to-go. Nasi Ayam Lada Hitam (Chicken Black Pepper), Nasi goreng babat (Babat Fried Rice) and Nasi Sapi Jamur (Beef and Mushroom).

I love the edgy packaging. It's very convinient and fast. Never had enough!

Yum, yum doesn't that look yummy. It tasted great as well. I love the chicken black pepper, not too hot and pepper-y. But the fried rice didn't taste so well. I think they use freshly cooked rice so it's too soggy and delicate. Nevertheless, the sauce and spices are good. The Beef and Mushroom is got to be my favorite, because it's like a soup with beef and mushroom, other vegetables, that kind of thing. It was awesome.

The Plus point is the dishes are cheap and reasonable. One box goes for 15.000 (around US$1.50), and I think it's all under 20.000 (US$2) so it's such a perfect place for students or workers around the Sudirman perimeter.

PS: I tried Strawberry and Creme Blended Frappuccino from Starbucks and I didn't like it. It's like strawberry milkshake. I'll stick to my faves: Java Chip, Caramel Misto or Hazelnut Latte.
