On Usual Track

After the grueling try-out for my school final exam, I did the unthinkable. I actually flew to Singapore, just for the weekend. Did I tell you about bodyworld? My family wanted to go and see it. My dad also wanted to see the Chingay Parade. I flew on Friday afternoon.

as always, we stayed in Concorde Hotel (previously Le Meridien Hotel) near Dhoby Gaute MRT station. Look at the awesome interior. I love the stripped carpeting.

The next day, we went straight to Jurong East to the Science Center. I'm always excited to the the place. A reminder of the things that we don't have here in Indonesia. Like the Body World Exhibition. Would you be interested in looking the human body, real preserved human body? Ah, it can be very scary. But fascinating, too. Each nerves and blood vessels; how awesome is our God? Glorious! The bones inside our ears, are soooo small; and you can see them live, right there.

Took a stroll inside the Science Center itself as well. I love the new wing about technology. The lights changes colors! And do you know the gadget in Minority Report where Tom Cruise moves his hand on the air; they have it there! It's wow-ing.

Oh, I didn't documented a lot of food since I ate fast-food : p But we ate at Din Tai Fung and enjoyed my absolute favorite dim sum : Xiao Long Bao!

Oh, I've been meaning to buy a pair of Crocs forever and I finally bought McCall in plum! Crocs can be fun and hip as well!

The awesome ION Orchard. Forever 21 in 313@Somerset has 4 floors but it isn't a big store. It's pretty much the same as in Jakarta. Here it has bigger space with fewer floors.

Finally went home and bought hershey's, mars and jelly belly!
