Radja Ketjil

bird-caged lights.

I go to BTA 45 at Tebet Barat Dalam and now I know the way around Tebet. There's more than Tebet Utara Dalam, the street of the famous Bloop-Endorse and other local distros. I mean, the street is very much alive, especially at weekends. It's almost impossible to find a table or a parking space. So I venture to Radja Ketjil. My dad says each time he picks me up from BTA, the restaurant is packed. Turns out it serves 'peranakan' dishes, and dim sum (all you can eat Dim Sum at 8 pm, I think)

chairs of different shapes and sizes.

fruit salad with prawns.

Sapi Hitam Manis (Black Pepper Beef)

Prawn Kung Pao

The taste is very good; the feel is real. I like the black pepper beef. The quality of the meat is top-notch. The fruits seemed fresh. The prawn is too delicate but still enjoyable. But as you can see, the portion isn't very generous. If you choose an outdoor table, beware of mosquitos. Otherwise, well enough.

7/10
