I'M BACK
finally I can sit on my chair, in front of my laptop, in my room, in my house, in my beloved city of JAKARTA. I'm in a mood of telling you my story, JOURNEY to Bandung, in my point of view.
I had flu a day before the trip and I was very miserable. God knows how many tissues I've thrown. Anyway, I had thought to bring a small, hand-held, Elle bag in color green but my belongings were just to many. The Social Science Major went to Bapepam-LK near Lapangan Banteng. I wish one day I'd work in an office like that, very modern, very sophistocated. Later that day, I spotted a car with RI 12 license plate parked outside the building (Menko Perekonomian, Hatta Rajasa) . I wondered if I spotted RI 1 on the street.
After the brief visit, we went straight to Bandung. The schedule was to dropped our bags at the hotel first before going to Jalan Riau, but because we were already late, we went straight to Jalan Riau, aka the Factory Outlet District. It was raining quite heavily when we arrived and I lost my mood to shop. I didn't buy anything. From there, we went to Saung Mang Udjo. I really wish I had more time to look at the mechandise on sale but I was too tired, sick and upset to enjoy the moment. We went to see a show, showing numerous traditional music and dances, including playing angklung. I haven't touch one of those since primary school. *FYI, I competed in an angklung competition once*
We stayed at Talagasari Hotel on Setiabudi atas, almost near Lembang. The complex was very large, I had a VERY hard time looking for my room. I stayed with Sherly, Vinca, and Chrisna. The room was okay but the bathroom was kind of scary. But it has aircon so I was safe.
That's day one !
